What are the security implications of using the quick boot feature on your PC?
Quick boot features on PCs, often known as fast startup, hibernate, or suspend-to-disk, can significantly cut down the time it takes for your computer to start. This convenience, however, may come with security trade-offs that you should be aware of. When you enable quick boot, your PC saves the system state to a file on the hard drive, allowing it to resume faster. But this could pose a risk if someone gains physical access to your machine or if malware exploits the hibernation file.
