The above perspective is true only if you know people, then you ask for those reviewers. If you do not ask for reviewer then they will never accept your manuscript no matter how brilliant your science. We have historic evidence for that. Marie Curie could not publish her paper in Nature as people reviewers of Nature journal did not deem it to be good enough for the journal as they did not know her. I have zero confidence in peer review.

Cuando los pares que revisan , estan dentro del ambiente, problema o entorno de el estudio en progreso, tienen una visión real del problema, por lo que pueden juzfar y revizar la investigación realizada. Lo cual permite dictaminar von criterio firme sobre el proyecto en evaluación, lo que no puede hacer la IA o un agente externo al entorno de estudio.

The reviewers have a key role in detecting, reporting and correcting research bias. It is relatively easy to assess bias, if you do not have the same one. Once identified, the reviewer can request corrections from the authors and alert the editor for further evaluation by management. You must also be prepared to find indifference and awkwardness on the part of the journal because they do not have protocols in place to address it.

En mi experiencia personal, el rigor metodológico es una etapa intermedia entre una exploración y el desarrollo de una buena investigación con conclusiones sustantivas. Besides examining credibility in the subject area and investigating relevance in a certain field, peer review helps define unbiased publication decisions based on thorough, evidence-based scrutiny, that maintains high standards in quality. No matter how renowned a scholar is in a field of expertise, their work must certainly undergo peer review before a publication decision is made. Peer review is devoid of any impressions, bias and prejudice. It gives equal importance to all scholarly work that undergoes review. Therefore, it is crucial to have a credible reviewer pool who adhere to this principle of non-bias and impartiality.
