The relationship between stakeholders and risk management is finely balanced. Small businesses understand that stakeholders are human beings and usually treat them as such. The bigger a businesses gets the more it dehumanises its stakeholders and turns them into 'data'. To me, this is where the risk between the two conflate. You can't have a two way dialogue with data. We all need to acknowledge the immediate risk of a progressive profitable enterprise is taking its stakeholders; customers, staff, suppliers and their community, for granted.
