An honest mentee will also admit their mistakes, take responsibility, and follow through on their promises. On the other hand, a lack of integrity can indicate a mentee who is dishonest, unethical, or disrespectful. A mentee who lacks integrity will lie, cheat, or manipulate their prospects, clients, or colleagues, cover up their errors, and break their commitments. If you notice a lack of integrity in your mentee, try to confront them with the facts, explain the consequences and implications of their actions, and enforce the rules and values of your organization.
As a mentor, you have the opportunity and responsibility to help your mentee develop the skills and traits that will make them a successful sales development representative.
