Not all these technologies can be implemented at every location, Such as smart building concepts in countries like South Asia will take a lot of time, yes CMMS is sure good thing to implement in these areas. In these areas, integrated facilities management software can be implemented which can digitize all records and automate processes. Drone technology is also very important in FM, it can serve better in security, cleaning emergencies.

Technology is a crucial need and not a choice any more. Below are some steps FM can take to be updated with the current demand market. 1.AI Access control systems 2.cloud visitors database management system 3.CAFM 4. IP cameras 5. Update BMS 6. Sensor based lighting 7. Remote home appliances control(demand base) All above are highly important to look into in these systems how will they impact in disaster recovery of the facility. Best solution is cloud database
