I also found frequent meetings to be an effective tool for monitoring and evaluating the team's performance. It allows the identification of risks, and gaps or constraints and the revision of actionable plans.

Very important. Monitoring requires that you get involved. Evaluation must not be formal or during the general appraisal season, informal evaluations are very effective.

An example of Self- management or Stress management that I’ve been reminding myself is to: -Get plenty of sleep. -Exercise and stretch out. -Try to eat for nutrition. -Have a good daily journal. -Prioritize and focus on tasks. -Communicate with piers. -Focus on family. -Have fun and laugh. -Show gratitude.

This is huge, if we don’t take the time to manage stress, we are no good to our teams when we are burnt out and unable to put out the fires that we are constantly responsible for putting out!

Provide growth opportunities to your team by asking : What can you do independently and happily ? What are the things , you are good at ? A realistic deadline is achievable by having an understanding of your capabilities and utilize these capabilities on the right place and time. What would be a good example is the mechanism of last mile delivery in terms of using each space each vehicle and destination.

When I have a project to setup, I look at all elements of it. Such as how much time will be needed to finish it from beginning to the end ? Will I be able to run my day to day operation between this project and still be on point ? Can I work on the project, before I start my regular day or should I break it down into blocks of time ? Will I need outside help in gathering items to do the project? Despite all the listed reasons above, I usually look at the cost of labor, materials, researching, travel and being on time with the completed .
