What are the most important conceptual design principles for developing new products and services?

It is critically important that this step is done completely, because otherwise it will not be done correctly, and you will see the associated cost come up further down the line when it will be of far greater detriment. To satisfactorily complete this step, you must respond to what your research has yielded. If you ascertain, after having gathered all of your information, that what you thought you were solving for is now quite a different problem altogether, or perhaps not even a problem at all, you must reform your understanding and approach before proceeding to further steps, even if it means repeating this step in its entirety.

Understand the problem, balance the distribution of visual weight within a design, and build a prototype or series of it to test your hypothesis, Repetition is a great way to reinforce an idea.

Now let's come to the product design part, your product makes a beautiful difference, you have to design user friendly design in every manner, testing is a very important part and market check is also important.

This involves filtering concepts based on criteria like desirability, feasibility, viability, and alignment with project goals. Methods such as dot voting, SWOT analysis, Pugh matrix, and feasibility testing aid in comparing and ranking ideas. By eliminating weak or irrelevant concepts, teams can converge on solutions that are both practical and effective, ensuring that resources are allocated to ideas with the greatest potential for success.

In my experience once a new process works well it can often find itself not being revisited. I think it’s super important to continue to stay on the pulse of well put together processes and look for ways to continue improving its functionality.

Adaptability will tell us our product or service is worth it or not, adaptation is a major essential part so you have to design your product customer centric, customer needs and target. Because the customer makes the product famous and scalable.

Don’t forget to have fun in the process. The answers have to be discovered because depending on the problem you’re trying to solve, you don’t even know half the questions to ask; yet. Strive to solve the problem and don’t stop tinkering until you reach the most accepted minimum viable product. You’ll never stop tinkering but the process shifts from unknown variables to informed choices. Enjoy the process.

So there's a lot of good information out there in textbooks. However, I've found the double diamond approach is still a classic approach. The double diamond, as it was conceived by UX designers stands for Discovery and Development, followed by Design and Delivery. This four phase methodology is a great strategy for any designer.
