From my experience, it is vital to constantly ask for feedback so that you can know the areas to improve, humans are not perfect, there will always be something to improve. Target/ask different people from different parts of the organization and get their honest opinions on what can be done better, it usually works better in the morning at a coffee.

I once read in the book Collective Genius by Harvard professor Linda Hill that innovation ?? comes when we’re able to create an organization where Individual slices of genius come together to create Collective genius through collaboration, discovery driven learning and integrative decision making. I think that’s only possible if we embrace DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and those individual slices of genius come from different perspectives and backgrounds. We need to believe this as leaders in order to really promote it.
