This can be arrived at by answering the question of "what the business is trying to achieve by hiring for this role" and breaking this goal down for the new hire. We need to set the expectations right and realistic before getting into hiring. 2. Regular discussions with them to get the real time analysis of those interviews, so that we do not lose any good candidate, because of misunderstanding amongst the hiring managers. 3. make sure, the interview evaluation sheet has some parameters on which the interview needs to be based upon. 4.Time to time training for all hiring managers/potential hiring managers, so that when hiring time comes, we do not waste much time on trainings. 5.Share the recruitment dashboards with them from time to time.

EDI training, legislation compliance, accommodations should be areas that the managers receive training in so that they may be in compliance with legislation and policy.

Ongoing support is crucial. This isn’t a "train them once and let them loose" kind of deal. Regular check-ins, refresher courses, and providing resources like interview guides, cheat sheets, or even an internal mentorship program can help keep their skills sharp. Don’t forget to measure and tweak. Gather feedback from the hiring managers themselves, as well as from candidates and new hires. What’s working? What’s not? It’s like tasting your dish as you cook – adjust the seasoning as needed.
