What are the most effective ways to reward clients who refer others?

Any time a client refers a new client to me I send them a thank you email and I offer them one free training session. Most of the time they refuse the session

I always offer free sessions to clients when they've referred a new client to me. As often as possible, I also offer an in-person (or virtual) coffee date so we can connect, talk more personally, and explore other aspects of her training program.

I have always offered a complimentary session to a referring client whereby the referee ( new client ) has purchased a 5 session training package ! Obviously the qty of “ with comps “ sessions can be altered accordingly to the package purchased as a additional incentive . It,s important to also note / remember these referrals when a client may cancel or re- schedule at the last minute ( less than 24 hrs notice ) or when trying to obtain a more favourable training timeslot! There are 2 things that we do within our company for those who refer others. 1. For our digital products, such as a course that we sell, we offer our clients the opportunity to sign up as an affiliate of our course. If they refer the course to someone they know and it's purchased through their personalized link, we give them a 50% commission for doing so. 2. If someone refers someone to one of our higher investment programs, such as our mastermind or personal consulting, we offer a lump sum dollar amount for referring the business our way. These are just 2 ways to pay it forward to those who get referred by you. It's important to keep the flow of money moving, so this is a great way to do so.

If the new client maintains his/her membership agreement with me for 3+ months, the client who referred them will receive a credit towards my business and/or monthly dues. If any client refers 3+ people to my services, he/she receives reduced monthly dues (plus a rate cap) for as long as those referred clients remain with my business.
