Usability testing is different from generative research, and should therefore be presented in a different format. I have found success presenting usability test results using the following approach: 1. Focus on usability issues. The purpose of testing is to identify usability issues. I like to screenshot every tested screen, and layer all issues I identified on top of their respective screens. 2. Frequency: it's good to report how many participants had an issue. Since your sample will be small, do not report frequency using percentages! Just say "2 out of 6". 3. Severity: how bad is each issue? - Minor: causes some hesitation or slight irritation. - Moderate: causes delays and moderate irritation. - Critical: leads to task failure.
