Generate benefit hypothesis for using agile methodology, define measure of success or progress, gather multiple perspectives and expert opinion. Validate the customer value defined with the actual customers and market experts. Sometimes, implementing agile methods may not necessarily mean doing incremental and iterative development, it may just mean that you need to be agile to pivot, change the course of action or even wrap up the project.
