I believe that following up after a networking event is huge. If you connected with a specific individual (say a recruiter), and you got their information. Send an email, follow up, ask for a coffee chat to gain more insights if they’re available. Networking is so important, personalized messages are a must to ensure you’re taking a personable approach.

Incredibly important to follow up after a big event. I try to take pictures with people while I'm there, get their contact info... Then I create a spreadsheet with pics, contact info, where we met, what they do... Anything and everything I remember about that person. Having an organized spreadsheet related to each event always helps me. My goal is to ultimately build a relationship with the people I want to do business with. (Why would you want to do business with someone you wouldn't want to be friends with?) So I make sure I'm following them on their social media accounts... Liking and commenting on pics of the event. It builds report, and helps you stay fresh in their minds. Stay connected!
