1 Highlight the financial advantages

One of the most common objections to green technology is that it is too expensive or does not generate enough return on investment. Investing in green technology for green technology's sake is a non-starter. Investment must align with a stakeholder's mission, and I have never seen investing in green technology in a mission statement. However, relevant terms I have seen in mission statements include environmental stewardship, conservation, sustainability, diversity, waste reduction, community health and wellbeing, and efficiency. Target an element of the stakeholder's mission that aligns with one or more examples of green technology implementation, then demonstrate consistency between investment and achieving the mission.
