During any acute crisis or disruption, an organisation needs to communicate what's happening, what people need to do, when, and why - simply and clearly. The last thing you want to be doing is explaining policies and procedures in the middle of the event! That of course requires plenty of good planning and testing - including of communications *before* the event, and in a language people affected can actually understand. The overall question of this collaborative article should have been phrased much more clearly!

In my view, risk management is an ongoing activity and it should be aligned with day to day activities and all stakeholders of the company should be thoroughly aligned and educated with the same, so that wildfire situation should not occurred.
