Also the use of the English language is complex. There is also the context of words used At best, provide a space the audience can feel accepted and comfortable to ask for clarification. For example, I am fluent in English, but I still need to ask for clarification. I find it especially helpful when I can see the context of content through some examples like stories or visual. Let questions come from your audience and keep focus on what is said, not on your own understanding of the words you use.

Language is a powerful tool in public speaking, especially in multilingual settings. One of the tricks I always use is to learn a phrase or two and incorporate them into my speech. It can be in the introduction or concluding remarks. But if you have ever used this approach, you will observe how it sparks up a different level of interest in whatever message you want to deliver. Politicians use this a lot. When unsure about a joke or phrase in a non-dominant language, consult a native to ensure it conveys the intended meaning. Avoid unintentional disrespect, as it can block audience attention. Instead of mentioning countries, use inclusive language like "we" to create a sense of inclusivity.
