Make sure that there's always one thing that you're working on that is completely your own. "Feedback" is helpful but when it is an every day occurrence, when there's always something to change, it's nice to have one thing that is exclusively in your voice.

It doesn't matter what you post. Content has value if someone finds it funny, educational, entertaining or insightful. As long as one person may find value in what you have created, post it.

Stop working. Find things that aren't work, things that take you out of your head. Here's what works for me: -Six hours sleep minimum. Normally between about 1.30-2 and 8am. Mileage will vary. But give me six hours and I can do pretty much anything. -Hydrate. No one drinks enough water. Drink more. -Go for walks. Your subconscious will kick in and solve problems when you do. -Find something you can't monetize. I cook. I'll never be good enough to make it a job and that's GREAT. I make a great sourdough, really good chicken meatballs and I've got a solid bagel loaf. All of which get me out of my head and help my back brain work.

Here are a few techniques I follow to maintain my momentum as a Content Writer: * Recognising burnout or its symptoms and taking breaks as and when required. * Disconnecting from the digital world and avoiding doomscrolling during said breaks. * Writing for oneself - be it something as short and simple as a quote - and not focussing on client deadlines alone. These small practices help me on the daily.

I find it super helpful to have a content schedule ahead of time and schedule some posts especially if I know it's going to be a busy week. Find a time that suits you! Morning or night? Wear your comfy clothes, get that drink of yours, and do what you love. Whenever you can't , its okay to take a break. Be kind to yourself.

In July, I began to take regular exercise seriously by registering in a gym. As a creative, who is always glued to a blue light and works fully from home, I can say for sure that it can be mentally draining. Going to the gym and taking walks didn't only help me with body movement, but also gave me a reason to go out everyday, meet people and have a feel of fresh air which my brain needed outside the confines of the four walls of my house.

Change is the most consistent thing about content. What was working yesterday might not work tomorrow. It is hard to anticipate change but you need to build systems and a mentality of of flexibility so that you can change when needed.

Sometimes the constant changes and tight deadlines can feel overwhelming--remember that the only way anything gets written is one word at a time. Protect your energy and creativity. You can't pour from an empty cup--your mental and emotional health directly impact your ability to create. You don't have to be a "starving artist" and run yourself ragged to "keep up." Steady growth is healthier and more sustainable than Herculean effort followed by burnout. Develop sustainable work habits and processes, and you will have the resilience to handle every new adventure in your career.

Seek out sources of inspiration. Nobody works in a vacuum and having a bank of places to go where you can feel the spark is vital for a creative in any field. Regular exposure to experts, humour and authors will help get you over those humps when you don't feel like engaging and will help keep your perspective fresh.

The most important thing I would say is the skill of writing. ChatGPT and tools like that help, but not sustainable. Its a skill and can be horned with some effort, I am in that process and how I am doing is that I am reading a book called 'On Writing Well' and the most important thing, Start Writing.
