A strategic snapshot of a career with inclusion of professional summary is helpful. It should be a concise presentation of facts, supported by metrics (which many fail to include). Tangible contributions to the company should be emphasised. The format itself is not as important as the content, which should be easily and quickly digested (unless requested specifically, I would never use an infographic format). A good CV will be concise but compelling enough to lead to interview.

Was always a fan of the Sizzle sheet for my executive clients. 1-pager, very slick, a hit with many exec recruiters. In my opinion, the hybrid, or modified functional resume can serve the Executive or C-Suite candidate most effectively as this format provides the flexibility to allow for some accomplishments from past work experiences to be highlighted earlier in the resume if necessary. This also includes experience that may not even be chronicled on the resume because it's beyond a certain number of years. If the candidate is following a consistent career path, the chronological may be a perfect fit. This is on a case-by-case basis.

As a senior executive we need to have below points included in a resume:- 1) Need to showcase the skills. 2) As having a good experience need to mention how our experience and techniques will help to clear out the major issues. 3) Need to mention how our experience and knowledge going to help and motivate the others. 4) Need to have future plans of having new things to learn or new position to earn. And showcase the same by highlighting the relevant skills.

At C-suite level I strongly feel highlights of key visionary, transformative achievements, the organizations and the capacity play a critical role in not only telling your story comrehensively but also demonstrating consistency with your leadership style. A board looking out for next chapter fit will only want either acceleration or total transformation which certainly comes out elaborately with the hybrid resume.
