Internet is great, youtube is great, so today everybody is an expert, many of the videos you see are total rubbish, but seeing a video makes many think that the person making the video must be qualified. So less and less content is correct, and we se many posting pictures, getting lots of good comments, and it rubbish

some tips: - follow the right procedures for preparing the cable/fibers and ODF and splice boxes - keep you splicer and cleaver clean - handle properly all your tools - respect manufactor specs for the cable and splice box - try to make your splicing environment clean and safe - Do NOT rush and cut corners when you are splicing, follow the procedure!!! (already mentioned but it is crucial) - have good lighting around you - Important to take part in the measuring and testing later, when it has to do with your own splicing. Only this way you can see for yourself any bad splicing you made and then you will improve your skills - whenever possible, check other technicians' practice and "steal" their good habits - do not be afraid to ask & learn
