Creativity is like a muscle, it needs to be trained. to ensure you stay creative you can try some of the following techniques: - Write! whenever a new idea comes to mind immediately write it in your notebook for later review - When reading about new technology, try and figure out how It could be used elsewhere in a non-trivial way - Try to "break apart" processes and technologies into small specific processes and then try to iterate how these could this parts be used somewhere else, or changed - Brainstorm with other people! The invention should speak of a brand that can withstand amongsts all other existing inventions. Not all inventions can take off and it is a fact that amongst those that has been invented, only few were succesfully recognized. How to make your invention more 'sticky' and get the right mind share could be achieved through the power of branding.

Ability to Scale-up. Making a 1 lb of a new product is not the same as making 10-50 ton batches. Many new developments find showstoppers during the scaling up operations.
