Possibilities help people accept short term pain for long term gain. 5. Last but not least… give it time that is required. Changing mindset takes time. Be Patient and consistent wrt to efforts put in.

Apart from everything else.. the key ingredient is TRUST. Build trust with everyone you interact, otherwise they won't open up. Your work may not give you the mangoes you want. Trust is the foundation for doing anything related to people. Trust is the pied pipers tool for managing change.

Here are three things to consider in large scale change- 1) People are more important than technology. Focus on the human side of change rather than focus only on business and technology change aspects. 2) Articulating the future roles of impacted people transparently early on can make change much easier. When there is insecurity, it vitiates performance and culture. 3) Skilling people with new knowledge and capability for the change can make the change easier. Being irrelevant is one of the biggest fears people have in the face of change. When you pave a way forward, you unlock their engagement and contribution.
