When first starting out, you won't have that many projects to display. You hopefully have an idea of what type of projects you would absolutely love working on, though. Do some passion projects that are aligned with that. Say you know you want to design for sports companies. Find real companies and rebrand them, or ask ChatGPT to give you a brief for a fictive company. When you start looking around for work, you then have relevant work to show potential employers or clients. They'll see that 1) you have an understanding of their specific industry and 2) they can easier understand your relevant skills! Win-win :)
