Efficiency improves the performance of equipment due to minimum losses, which improves thermal stability and finally life of the equipment. ?? Efficiency is the ratio of output to input power. Cost of operation reduces due to higher Efficiency. ?? Efficiency also reduces impact on environment due to more useful output power. ?? Higher reliability reduces power system failures and interruption. ?? It reduces maintenance & operation cost. It also improves quality & safety of power system To improve efficiency and reliability microcontroller based intelligent power system with low loss & higher redundancy can be used.
