In my experience, most people are resistant to change and to have them adapt to a changing environment cannot happen at a glance. It is very important that people are eased into a change. Some of the things I do to ease people to a change are: - Adapt to a phased release instead of a big bang. - Phase 1 is very similar to the current product/process so they are familiar and not overwhelmed but looks-wise (UI/UX) is better. - Phase 2: Once they are used to the phase 1 adapt to making quality-of-life changes. Things that streamline a product or a process. - Phase 3: Once they are used to Phase 2, you can then implement the final product. Often you will find people coming to you asking what else do you have to make this process better.
