They also need to understand the wider work that is also happening perhaps there is network patching happening so careful planning is essential. The team needs to be able communicate from one central place and to also be flexible and proactive as much of this is out of the core hours of working

This is seeking the inputs of the groups who benefit from the aspects like reports/ dashboards (senior stakeholders). This will provide the strategic value. The most important aspect is to look for what is not being said. Many a times, the elephant in the room is not discussed.
