Customer feedback (even internal customers) is an effective tool. Customers want data that is water tight so that good knowledge driven decisions can be taken. By placing customer needs as pivotal one drives customer centricity. This is valuable because then the culture is set. Another behavioural need is compliance to EHS. Sometimes, the staff may be comfortable taking what they think are informed risks. When it comes to safety the behaviour needs to stem from custodianship rather than mere compliance. The safety pyramid .. of unsafe practices, near misses, injuries and so on needs to be part of the DNA. And people need to show that safety is the true result of a rigorous process.

En mi experiencia se pueden medir los resultados de la Innovación, con o sin capacitación. Por eso sugiero realizar un diagnóstico previo sobre parámetros que midan la innovación (cantidad de ideas, grado de disrupción de ideas, cantidad de colaboradores trabajando en ideas, cantidad de ideas convertidas en proyectos, cantidad de ideas canceladas, cantidad de patentes solicitadas / otorgadas, y muchas otras). Luego realizar la relación entre las necesidades / skills disponibles y los necesarios para gestionar la innovación. Finalmente medir el resultado un tiempo después (6 meses). Importante: La innovación depende en gran medida de la cultura organizacional. Es importante fomentar la cultura de la innovación y la tolerancia al fracaso.
