All of the 6 points above are important, however one can evaluate and trust the vendor in those aspects as they are the subject matter experts in the field. Your job as a SPOC for your factory needs is, how well you articulate the pain and it's business impact to the vendor and just see to it that it's well implemented in your system. Additionally, there are a newer niche systems who come as a hybrid of traditional vision techniques combined with AI capabilities. Here one should look at it's scalability without being much dependent on the vendor.
