I disagree here. You can start by taking whatever comes. I started by calling every business in town with a sh*t website and underpriced the service to get my first few clients. It helped me work through the kinks and learn a lot!

When first starting out, make sure you don't take on too much. While it might sound amazing to be a full-stack developer one day, you might not want to learn everything in too short of a time. From my experience, people burn out and/or lose interest because they feel defeated when doing this. Think of where you want to go. Then break it down. You don't want to be learning all coding programs you might one day need at once.
