Data is synonymous with awareness of sorroundings; it has been so since the advent of sentient beings (humans included). 1. Data was a tool/assest for survival, if we consider our ancestors from pre-industrial age. 2. During the industrial revolution, information it was a conduit for progress. It came with the caveat that there were restrictions of the access, education and social status being the major factors. 3. Post that, with advent of progressive thoughts across, data access has become progressively democratic. Survival of an entity depends on how to consume the data; correct analysis of relevance is the key.There are myriad tools to help on multiple levels.But understanding of the relevance is the key, it has been always so.
