The array of sustainable materials and products for packaging which are available nowadays is vast - just because something is cheaper per square meter, doesn't necessarily mean the total cost or impact on the business is reduced. Consider assembly times, shipped weight and the impact of returns to ensure that you're keeping cost down, while optimising your carbon impact accross the whole supply chain. There are plenty of advisors and specialists out there who can help with planning and impact assessments.
