Absolutely ask questions find out just what their needs are and trying to do if you're unable to sort the troubleshooting process go into controls you may find a setting turned off or access to be not set up in setting or just needs correction made always have you're other pc online search for problem like your customers usually you will find helpful answers and process to correct the problem in question.

Use your remote access software run remote diagnostic software and self check on there computer ask what was last program or use they did look into checksum for details you can update drivers to that usually is the issues drivers get outdated and functionality starts actually causing problems or crashes.

I work at a large company with a homogenic hard- and software environment. I think the sentence "You can also document the problem and the solution in your internal Knowledge Base or ticketing system for future reference." needs to be a heading of its own. A KB or ticketing system is very important for colleagues and future reference.

INDEED i cannot just repeat everything they already list it seems after a response the next question was identical to my previous post i must agree with no doubt everything they mention is absolutely positive i can only suggest one other point know what you're doing do not guess or be someone whose assuming absolutely knowledge higher education is key
