1 What is self defense?

Self defense is the use of reasonable force to prevent or stop an attack, threat, or violence from another person or group. Self defense can involve physical, verbal, or psychological tactics, depending on the context and the level of danger. Self defense is not only a skill, but also a right and a responsibility. You have the right to defend yourself from harm, and you have the responsibility to act in a way that does not escalate the situation or harm innocent bystanders.

Self-defence is a fundamental concept in criminal law, allowing individuals to protect themselves or others from imminent harm and danger. Section 3(1) of the Criminal Law Act 1967 states that any person may use such force as is “Reasonable” in the circumstances in preventing a crime or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons unlawfully at large. Reasonable force is based on two primary issues. That is that any force applied must be both Necessary and Proportionate in the circumstances if it is to be considered as Reasonable.

Meaning of "Self Defense" is : 1... A person's ability to Defend their body from external forces of Harmful aggression; AND 2... A person's ability to perform: "The Art of Fighting, without actually Physically Fighting" - because if a person can perfect their "Gift of the Tongue" Skill, then the need for Physical Bodily defence movements will be NOT necessary ????

Self-defense starts with awareness; awareness of self, others, and surroundings. Keep a safe distance between others and self. Be aware of exits or obstacles you can utilize. Be aware of the reasonable force that may need to be used and the physical targets that you may need to aim for if someone intends harm you, knowing that you are as prepared as possible, because you have practiced ahead of time.

L'auto-défense passe inévitablement par la connaissance de soi. Sans cette dernière, la non-conscience de soi fait de nos mécanismes notre premier ennemi. L'avantage de l'apprentissage de l'auto-défense est de développer la conscience de qui nous sommes d'une part, induisant une prise de confiance par un travail holistique : développement du corps physique, canalisation des émotions en situation de stress, ma?trise du mental et si possible, un apport spirituel (relatif à l'esprit). Cet ensemble amène un nouveau rayonnement et un développement personnel indéniables.

Wisest way to Choose your Self Defence Instructor is by : 1... Making sure the Instructor's Style of Martial Art that you are choosing to learn is going to truly really match your Heart and Body's comfort zone ; AND 2... Confirming 100% that the Instructor's Training Experience has been atleast Fifteen (15) Years (or more) because any less than this amount of Time - will mean the Self understanding of the Instructor's Mind, Body, Spirit will be "Not yet Enlightened" ("Not" Awakened) because this Inner meditational Qualification takes the above-said many years for an Instructor to forge the skills deeply enough - so to be able to perform the Action movements smoothly "Without hesitation or undue pauses".
