Networking can has many different ways, according to your profile and your specialty, offering help to other department or business units can be a good way to network. Especially in controlling issues and audits, there is always a way to offer help that can bring both parties working together. As an internal controller we were always proposing our assistance to business units and other departments in order to ensure controls are implemented and working as planned. It helped us a lot into creating a confident environment where processes and controls are followed and more efficient.

Keep in touch with you contacts and colleagues. Ask them for help if they need you. Make them sure they can reach you out anytime if they seek any assistance. It will help us to you maintain long term relationship.
