It's not always a problem but a better way to do something, esports especially at the community level is manual. Loaded with people having to take screenshots, which opens you up to user manipulation and then sending them across 3rd party software and admin teams manually counting giving a slow and user error based experience. I developed a fully automated esports tournament & brand engagement platform that's worked with billion dollar brands.

Some of you might’ve seen the “esports assembly match” in front of 1,000+ students on ESPN, so I feel I have a unique perspective of this. Number one thing to consider is put yourself in the shoes of someone who does not know what esports is. Make your event seem like traditional viewership sports. Get the crowd involved during down time. Incorporate music, lighting, smoke, etc to engage. And lastly, have great casters that are energetic and most importantly everyone can hear clearly!!!

Be the fan yourself! Different game communities have different needs, and in order for you to tailor your efforts towards their satisfaction, you should immerse yourself in the community's experiences as much as you can. To truly understand the diverse needs of the community, one must be an integral part of it through engagement in online communities, attending events, creating feedback channels, interacting with content creators, hosting community events, and staying responsive to feedback.
