Many creative portfolio websites are full of great artists, showcasing their work in all kinds of fields. My recommendations would be Behance and Dribble, as well as Pinterest for quick searches. Find a style you like, but haven't worked with before. Try to recreate some of it's elements and expand on its technique. This way, you will broaden your app design and development skills, as well as your mental library.

Focusing on the design straight away without a clear vision can sometimes be overwhelming and blocking.
