We are all life long learners, and especially in our line of work there is so much to gain and learn from. However, technological advancement is rather fast paced and forever evolving, in order to stay with the time we need clear goals around our personal growth in this arena. Schedule in regular learning sessions if not on a daily basis then at least thrice a week. Learn and then implement your learnings to evaluate where you really stand. Then improvise your teacher learning accordingly. I have found peer learning very helpful ,our tribesmen and tribeswomen who are tech savey are a great support. Connect with gems around you to enhance your learning.

The biggest barrier to entry in spending time developing yourself as a leader is TIME. This is a quick way to get new ideas, inspiration and increased self-awareness that helps you to start prioritizing your development: 1. In an AI platform enter this prompt "The top 10 industry books, blogs, classes and social media accounts on leadership development for X industry or X skillsets." 2. Pick 2-3 sources to get more curious about. Refine the prompt if needed to find something interesting and valuable for you. 3. Set aside 60 min each week to learn and reflect. Pick 1 thing you want to experiment with after this 60 minutes. Afterall, development is more then the knowledge you have it's how you use that knowledge that matters in leadership.

Aside from following your competitors and researching your industries innovation trends one easy and quick way to find a new tech solutions is to simply look around you at work. What are the younger generation employees or team members using in and out of the work environment? What recommendations do they have for X challenge you are looking to solve with a faster, more efficient and better experience? This takes less time than extensive researching and also allows you to create deeper connections with the peers and team members around you.
