You're going to need to develop calluses and nerves of steel to manage your interactions with these egomaniacs. Deep breaths... You must also come to terms with the fact that since you are out of work, hiring managers will think there's something wrong with you by default. They will wonder why you got laid off if you're such a good salesperson. Plan on spending time explaining why you're out of work. So... rehearse your reasons, keep it simple, and DON"T whine about the company you worked for!
