Here is my 2 cents: 1. Ensure a detailed pen test is perfumed on the application before rolling out in production. the pen test should be part of your Release checklist. 2. Perform regular vulnerability assessment on the entire infra including the application, to ensure you are able to identify any common vulnerability like Weak passwords, Authentication bypass, Session fixation related vulnerabilities etc. 3. Ensure measure are there to review the application for security misconfigurations. 4. Maintain a close monitoring for the application-level deviations and activities. 5. Ensure the third-party integrated modules are appropriately managed through regular updats etc.
