Well, it depends on what it means by "take a turn!" Good turn? Bad turn? Shut-down turn? Any good producer will have their style of how to deal with each of these but a few things... 1. Lean on your team! They can help you out of a jam. The collective can come up with some amazing ideas. 2. If you did it, own it! Don't point fingers. 3. Is it budgetary? Cast related? Weather? Raw sewage dumping onto your set midway through the shoot day? (Yep, the oddly specific one was me!) Lead by example. Some things you can't do anything about except lead your team with grace and composure, be proactive in producing results, and be chill. 4. Learn by watching others in similar situations. If you like someone's path, follow in their footsteps!

I believe we have to plan events in our schedule that may be out of our control. Having a second or third way to execute the project is always safer than relying on just one way.

Nenhum planejamento é imutável. é óbvio que, quando o planejamento é feito, a ideia é que ele seja 100% cumprido, mas imprevistos acontecem. Nesse caso, é importante ter sempre os planos B, C e D, já no planejamento inicial. Caso n?o tenha, é manter a calma e contar com a equipe (e essa é a importancia de contratar uma equipe confiável), pensar em alternativas e tentar dar a melhor solu??o possível frente ao novo cenário.

Backup plans should always be thought through in advance of production day. The pre-production step is your time to think through all of the challenges that could/will happen on production day. Your plan will inevitably change course in one way or another, but knowing how to pivot, execute your backup plan, and roll with the punches is what being on set is all about.

why did it happen? what caused it? whats the damage? Take a break if timeline allows, realign.address these three and one should be in control.
