Start with small commitments and grow them later once you are confident about vendor capability. 6. Retain relationships and carry them in your journey.

Seek feedback- While the customer who gives business to the vendor is in a position of authority.One should also be ready to seek feedback and understand the pain points the vendor is going through to meet the expecatations you set with them (expectations should be realistic). Applause them with perks more than billing invoice payment if their suggestion works.This will thrive the vendor relationship and boost their confidence to give the best from them.

A simplest thing when you will remain transparent there is less chance of conflict .. initially it may happened that you have some conflicts but with the passage of time when vendor realized that you are transparent and never engaged in taking gifts / low rates for personal use commodities or services and even not ?accepting any dinner invitation then vendor will not go for any conflict but when there is above mentioned things then vendor must get extra benefits and conflicts arise ... For building trust and rapport you should sacrifice your personal dreams but unfortunately we use vendor for networking too and things it our PR for future jobs and future benefits and it consider legal now .
