Il y a trop de solutions "clés en main" qui ne fonctionnent pas, trop de "fausses bonnes idées", trop d'évidence qui nécessite d'être questionnées. Tout projet doit passer sous le tamis de la connaissance et prise en compte des intérêts des acteurs et de leur implication, de la définition et la réponse aux "risques du projet" et de la bonne définition de l'objectif final, qui justifie le tout. Ce sont des éléments parfois discordant qui nécessite ce regard critique.

Its like a seed which needs a proper fertile ground to sprout and then a conducive environment to grow into its actual form

For a Urban project the stakeholders involved on it have a major play, it is usually not a single party involved on a project of this scale, so the risk start with police makers, the economy and investment associated to the project. Then to the particular interest and needs of those directly involved in the project. I feel that in UP projects flexibility is key for their success because all the risks may get the project have compromises. Compromises as in finding the balance, and that is what is key for the success of the design of a city, the balance.
