You might find the issues are in the shipping and/or packing station areas and not at order picking or release of orders. Look for bottlenecks and, reorganize procedures. If those don't work, look for automation that will help. Being able to pick at 20K orders per day will not do you any good if you can only pack and ship at 10K orders per day.
