Leaders should try to encourage the team members to lead discussions, step up and embrace their inputs and praise at all times where possible. Each team member should be always be encouraged to bring their own ideas to the table, have freedom to implement and not afraid to fail. Most of all is that if they succeed or fail with their idea is they continiously learn. That fosters an incredible growth environment.

My suggestion would be to establish “peer learning” process, assigning team members to have regular, routine knowledge share sessions with the team members. It should be part of the “curated learning”.

If everyone's intentions are honest and clear, collaboration and knowledge sharing shouldn't be a major challenge.( IMHO) keeping aside online meeting wherein network plays spoilsport. Ideally, individuals should share information and knowledge openly and freely. Lens from a As a new joiner perspective ( professionally experienced it as well) , it is and can be frustrating when people in the system are unwilling to share information or collaborate effectively. Disorganized emails and documents can make things even harder, as everyone relies heavily on memory or sometimes the intent is not to share.

Nothing might be as helpful as to find at least one thing the whole team has in common, i.e. travelling, watching TikTok videos or going out and then focusing on getting them together physically or at least online to spend more off-work/ hobby-related time together. This is going to strengthen their relationships and in the end result in the need to be each other's helping hand.

My suggestion is to start small: try to find a teammember that is willing to invest into growing, but also has the time to do so. Trying to get every member of the team on a similar is hard to do as a starting goal. If the mentioned teammember has gathered sufficient knowledge, they can also help to spread the information amongst the team.
