Understand why they’re resisting. Typically resistance comes when teams and people don’t believe they will receive benefit from what’s being presented. If you don’t gain trust and buy-in, resistance will run rampant!! You need that resistance at times to drive implementation too though. It can be beneficial.

You have to understand what are drivers of their fears or resistance. First of all, changing mindsets and overcoming the we have always do e it this way and so far it worked attitude is a big challenge. What it needs is proper explanation and training on the new solution making them understand that if the are willing to develop with the company, there must not be fear for the job (normally)

If my team has an issue with new technology, I would first find out "who" had issue with the new technology. I would talk to each and every member and find out what the issue they have with the new technology. I want to understand if the issue was with the technology itself or my team members not embracing or wanting to learn the new technology. Once I obtained that information, then I would evaluate the technology and determine if i could implement a better solution or I might need to redefine my team.

Provide space for freedom. Everywhere, we can see resistance to new technology, causing rollouts to fail and benefits to disappear. People are different in preferences and work styles. Many even want to be different. When people have no choice they surrender, resist, or resign. Of course, there are also the technology lovers. Leverage those as advocates, informal coaches, and examples. Resistance can be reduced by providing space. Space for individual ways, for a say in the setup or introduction of new technology, or for proposing modifications to processes and technology. If people have freedom in some areas they tend to easier accept that there are areas where they don't. Adoption is also linked to respect for persons in the organization.

Try to give the resisters some time and room to find themselves in the new environment and involve them in the design and implementation phase to play devil's advocate, come up with constructive criticism and alternative low tech ideas and human centered design that suits their preference.
