What do you do if your team members struggle with adaptability?

Adaptability takes time. First of all communicate with the team members regarding their problems. Access them properly. Help them. Listen to them and show empathy. Provide them with good environment. But it also depends on the kind of person they are. It may be tough but not impossible to make them adapt .

When it comes to adaptability I would first try to understand the perspective of my team. How they are looking at the change and what they are struggling with. Second, would be to map the distance between the change goals and the bigger picture and the team’s perspective and understanding of the same. Third would be to outline the goals based on their perspective and how they align to their own development and the same for the change goals. Fourth would be to have them suggest how to close the gap. Fifth will be creating a common roadmap to ensure the change while there is enough scope for learning, training and total participation in the strategy for the roadmap.
