"Trust" like any other human emotion is a two way street. One of the most powerful reflection for me was when my coach reframed a question about my boss to a question about my team. Given the two way nature, it would not be incorrect to say "trust gets trust". While this does not suggest blindly trusting anyone and everyone, given we are dicussing a team situation it can assumed that some amount of trust is already existing and demonstrating a higher degree of trust would be a good place to start.

To foster a truly loyal team dynamic, encourage spontaneous and informal interactions that break the mold of structured meetings.
