Risks to be well discussed and mitigation plans are to be aligned. If possible conducting impact analysis, risk based testing are few strategies with which organizations benefit from avoiding risks or know how to face them. Leaving risks to become issues would leave orgs into helpless scenarios, best strategy is to have open discussions, recognize individuals or process and rewarding them in time over and above their base pays is a best strategy to be practiced.. Categorizing risks and identifying their occurrences, frequency would let you plan sufficient.
