You need to check whether you are right, first of all. Pushback can occur for a variety of reasons, and one of the most important is that functional teams will know certain aspects of the business far better than you do. So, make sure you aren't on the wrong end of the argument to begin with. Another factor is that your strategy may be too far removed from "business as usual" in that people reject what they can't imagine. If this is the case, you have a communication problem that you need to address. Find better ways to get your points across, start with low hanging fruits, or create easy to understand analogies. If that still doesn't resolve the issue, you need to find key opinion leaders on the team and work with them on adoption.
