I usually send email at a time when the applicant is likely to be checking their inbox, may be during regular working hours majorly from 9 to 5pm, I usually avoid Mondays and Fridays.I usually send e-mails in the morning between 8 to 10 am. If it improved it then you know what was effective. It it decreased, change it back and try something else.
