This is an interesting question that I had never really ever thought about. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity with the multiple entrepreneurial firms I have owned to speak all over the world. I would make the case that the ability to speak effectively could add value and compensation, I don’t think is should be a/the primary driver for additional or better pay. Each employee should be objectively assessed against the goals and objectives that are set for them and they understood and agreed to.
